Effect of Deformation Temperature on Mechanical Properties in 1-GPa-grade TRIP Steels with Different Retained Austenite Morphologies

The effect of deformation temperature on the mechanical properties 1-GPa-grade TRIP steels with different retained austenite (?R) morphologies was studied. dependence deformation-induced martensitic transformation behavior also investigated. uniform elongation below room relatively large in needle-like ?R steel, whereas tensile strength at each almost same as it independent morphology. better strength–uniform balance obtained 373 K for steel and 473 blocky one. stability higher according to x-ray diffraction experiments. mechanically stable increasing temperature, but its volume fraction decreased temperatures above because bainitic transformation. In this paper, quantitative conditions obtain are summarized from viewpoints martensite rate.
